At the latest Social Committee planning meeting we discussed the brilliant idea of starting a mommies group in our neighborhood. I hope you are as excited about this as I am!

 

The idea is simple: We schedule play dates, walks, lunches, maybe a mommies yoga session at on a weekly basis. You check your calendar, decide which ones you want to and have the ability to participate in, email me and we will have a lot of fun together! There are no requirements, no commitments necessary. We all know how hard it is to schedule things around naps, cleaning, cooking, work and all the other stuff that needs to happen at some point :)

 

A little bit about me:

My name is Katrin Ricci. I am from Sweden, but I now live on Dakins Court and have been here since 2009 with my husband Chris. I teach a couple of yoga classes each week, help my husband with his practice, but the rest of the time I am fortunate enough to hang out with my 20 month old son Ian. I would love to get to know some other mommies in our neighborhood and hope to hear from lots of you.

 

But think about it: How awesome would it be to connect with some people nearby and eliminate the "commute."
